The Beckhams love their home in the English countryside, but as it turns out burglars seem rather keen on it too. That’s why the couple have made the decision to erect a razor-wire fence around the property.
Their neighbours though were a little surprised when the construction, which would not look out of place at a prison, appeared around the country house.
One told The Sun, “I was surprised to find out it didn’t need planning permission. It makes the place look like Colditz.”
The famous couple, who have just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary, bought the property near Chipping Norton back in 2017, after deciding they needed a country escape. They cast their gaze in the direction of the Cotswolds, as friends such as Gordon and Tana Ramsay, already have a residence there.
